- 2 years of working experience in a similar position/ the field of Mechatronics/Robotics.
- Experience with FANUC and preferably experience with other Robot Brands, such as ABB, KUKA or YASKAWA and welding processes.
- A fluent English level and willing to travel for extended periods, count with a US visa and work abroad if necessary.

Working as a Robot Programmer at AWL means working in a dynamic, competitive, international environment with high-end production solutions and demanding customers. You are part of an enthusiastic team of engineers.

As a Robot Programmer, your challenge and responsibility are to prepare and translate the customers required functional specifications of the robot and peripheral equipment into concrete robot control programs, within the time frame and quality requirements. You will be working on projects for a certain period and have final responsibility for the robotics part. At least 50 percent of your work will be executed directly in the plants of our customers. In addition you:

- Develop test plans and work instructions;
- Execute preparatory tasks for the transfer/training of our customers;
- Work closely with your colleagues from PLC Control, Robot Welding and Assembly.

**This will be your day**:
**8:00**
After a cup of coffee and discussing the weekend, you get back to work You have the freedom to execute your work and will start with your own planning. You will determine the priorities for this week.

**11:00**
You dive back into your project, in which you are already in the final phase of the realization. Time to write the last part of the code and get it reviewed by your colleagues.

**14:00**
After a lunch break with your colleagues, you have a weekly project meeting. All the leads of the project team will share their status and what they need for the coming week.

**15:30**
Your colleagues are stuck in a project and ask for your expertise. You are naturally acting as an advisor and are already looking forward to fix this challenge together

**17:00**
Time flies You are going to finalize the day and lock your laptop. With a satisfied feeling you go back to home. Note: You also got the chance to work directly at our customers’ plant on various projects.
