**Responsibility Statements**
- Guides strategic sourcing and category management for clients' organization spend.
- Obtains approval of the category sourcing plan (with project prioritization/phasing/savings).
- Integrates client stakeholders as part of the sourcing process using a tollgate procedure.
- Gathers, cleanses, classifies, examines, and interprets client spend.
- Leads the process of renewing, extending, terminating, and renegotiating contracts.
- Develops an implementation plan for buying channel optimization of spend for the category.
- Authorizes full responsibility for enabling hosted and punch-out catalogs.
- Drives transactional automation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
