**Environment Brief**:

- Supporting an enterprise environment for US based pharmaceutical company having six Enterprise Datacenters globally. These DCs are home to 12K+ Wintel and Unix Servers, 36PB EMC Storage, 10K VDI, 600 ESXi Hosts, 1400 Citrix servers, 140 F5 Load Balancer, 2800+ Oracle and SQL Databases etc.
- Currently has In-house private cloud with >80% server virtualized on Citrix and future strategy is to move onto hybrid public clouds - AWS and Azure

**Tools Knowledge**:

- Citrix XenApp/Xendesktop
- Skills on managing Windows 2012/16/19 and ESXi issues.
- CCA/CCP certified
- Citrix Netscaler and Director
- Citrix Cloud

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical support, monitoring, maintenance and trouble-shooting as necessary to keep DC infrastructure up and running.
- Manage Infrastructure from build to decommission
- Handle alerts/incidents/work orders/change request/problem records/ticket analysis/RCA as a part of support team
- Work in synergy with other support teams to keep the environment up and running.
- Should be able to help users with their day-to-day problems and project needs.
- Should be able to work under pressured and capable of managing major incident and complex change requests.
- Administer, manage and maintain firm wide Citrix farm and it's life cycle.
- Install and update Xenapp farms
- Design and plan Citrix CVA environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve Citrix related issues.
- Research, recommend and implement additional systems to improve performance and stability.
- Create and maintain documentation related to installations and configurations.
- Work closely with vendors to resolve issues that have been escalated for third-level support
- Stay current with trends in virtualization, security and cloud computing
- Work independently to evaluate symptoms and determine root cause of complex issues involving both client and server issues.

**Must Have Skills**:

- Experience of working enterprise tools for monitoring, ticketing, security and systems management like HP OV, CMDB, Service Now, CyberArk, Satellite Patching, Altiris etc.
- Should comply with security standards.
- Open for rotating in 24x7 shifts for production environment support and going on call.
