Position Purpose
Accounting Analyst - prepares the bank conciliations of 14 accounts on monthly and periodically basis (14 for US books and 14 for MEX books), loads the journal entries related to insurance amortization (medical, life and fire insurance). In addition, records the accrual of following expenses: security guards, alarms, garbage recollection, cleaning service and audit services of Datazone, Zone Compra and the CAT. This person keeps updated the check list of standard journal entries during the closing period and ensures that it is completed.

Primary Accountabilities
- Act as the main communication channel with the stores and the areas involved for the Client refund procedure. Answer Store request for information related to refund requirements or status within the same day or next working day.
- Request and validate client information needed for refund procedure (ensuring they comply with parameters given). Fill the forms for vendor registration ensuring backing the request with proper documentation. Follow up vendor registration with the assigned area.
- Follow up on the refund process with the areas involved no later than every 3 days after launching a refund request, with the intention of complying with the timeframe established for the completion of the refund. In case the store has launched a refund request without sharing initial information, send reminders to the store every 15 days for a period of 2 months as a follow-up.
- Record all the reimbursements within the approval system as soon as we have all support documentation. Ensure vouchers flow correctly within the system.
- Track the reimbursement payment within the system, ensuring payment is done when agreed. Once the refund has being made, provide support documentation to the Store so they can notify the costumer

Education & Experience
Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
Area of Study: Accounting
Years of Experience: One to two years.
