**Oracle Database Administrator **(**Oracle Database Administrator**, MEXICO)**

**ACTIVITIES**:

- Provision, configure, and maintain Oracle Cloud databases, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Implement and maintain database backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
- Plan and execute database migrations and upgrades.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize database schema and SQL queries.
- Implement and enforce database security policies and procedures.
- Manage database user accounts, access controls, DB Links, Sched Jobs,
- Stay current with Oracle Cloud technologies and best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
- Document database configurations, processes, and procedures.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator in a Cloud Environment.
- Proficiency in Oracle Database technologies, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Database, Oracle RAC, and Oracle Data Guard.
- Strong understanding of database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and security best practices in a cloud environment.
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure

**PLUS skills (not a must, only desirable)**:

- Oracle certifications e.g., Oracle Certified Professional
