Eaton’s VEH EMB eMobility division is currently seeking a Accounting manager.

**What you’ll do**:
Analyze operational and financial data, investigate variances, and evaluate their impact on planned objectives.
Provide budget reports and forecasts to budget holders on a monthly basis and act as a financial business partner to operational leaders.
Lead process improvements in accounting, reporting, and analysis methods.
Provide finance leadership in costing activities, including support for quoting and purchasing.
Establish and maintain internal controls to comply with SOX requirements and collaborate with internal and external auditors.
Lead the development and execution of monthly financial processes, such as month-end closing, forecasting, and Profit Plan.
Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and balance sheet, including reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments.
Foster an environment that aligns with Eaton's goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement.

EHS Responsibilities:
Separate hazardous waste from common waste.
Properly dispose of hazardous waste in assigned containers.
Maintain a clean work area free of contaminants.
Conserve water and report any activities that may jeopardize safety and the environment.
Identify and properly dispose of chemicals that may contaminate the environment.
Ensure correct containers for the disposal of hazardous waste.
Report the entry of new chemicals required for maintenance purposes and ensure correct handling.
Contain and repair oil spills as necessary.

**Qualifications**:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Experience: 3 years of progressive experience in Finance or Accounting roles.
Competencies: Experience in SOX financial controls, financial planning, and forecasting. Understanding of GAAP. Proficiency in MS Office, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint.

System skills/experience SAP,

Preferred qualifications
Minimum 1 year of managing people and / or project teams, knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, and experience with internal and external audits.

Ability to think strategically, work independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively across organizational levels, demonstrate motivation and urgency, attention to detail, ethical conduct, and commitment to work quality.
