**About the role**:
**What you will be doing**:

- Key Accountabilities Drives implementation and embedment of Orica SHES Department processes and programs; Verifies and ensures compliance with Orica's Group standards and procedures, and implement corrective actions to address findings; Manages compliance with relevant regulatory requirements that are associated with day-to-day operations; Guides and coaches management on the interpretation of legislative requirements, and technical aspects of the department; Coaches and supports leaders to conduct and review investigations including identifying direct and root causes, and support identification and tracking of corrective actions. Maintains a professional and constructive working relationship between Manufacturing Centre or Sub-Regional Area and the regulator; Collaborates with other internal and external specialist for collaborating on best practise and the improvement agenda relevant to the position and its requirements; Drives the implementation and management of preventive and mitigating controls to manage SHES material risks**What you will bring**:

- Minimum 8 years experience post professional qualification, including 5 years of direct people management experience.
- Proven ability to lead a team, including building a collaborative approach in the development of the direction and operations of the workstream.
- Proven influencer, able to manage processes across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives would be desirable.
- Demonstrated skills associated with building strong vendor &/or customer relationships
- Financial accumen & budgeting experience.
