Channel Scheduler

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
Content at Televisa Univision is looking for a Channel Scheduler to join our team

Channel Scheduler will be responsible for the scheduling, programming quality, and overall success of their assigned channels on the platform.

ABOUT YOU:

- The channel Scheduler is creative, problem solver, team player, passionate about new challenges, with the creativeness and ability to analyze and prioritize._

YOUR DAY-DAY:

- _ Responsible for the planning and prep for all VLL channels program grids and schedules._
- _ Responsible for the proper flow and input of program schedules of assigned VLL channels._
- _ Must program schedules based on quality, rating and popularity of content._
- _ Must be flexible and nimble in making regular changes and adjustments based on content performance_
- _ Monthly scheduling and day-to-day curation of programming for a selection of_ assigned channels_
- _ Work with planner on creation of monthly program plans for_ assigned channels_ to specification_
- _ Proactively review upcoming schedules and identify potential delivery and/or operational issues._
- _ Use data to maximize efficiency and understanding of content success_
- _ Ability to define success and failure criteria_ for content/channels/programming schedules_ & adjust program plans accordingly_
- _ Work with planner on creation of programming_ stunts, channels,_ and content for marketing and promotional use_

YOU HAVE:

- _ Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, with strong interpersonal skills, very organized, detail-oriented, and with the ability to prioritize and work effectively and independently with both speed and accuracy._
- _ Must possess both strategic and creative sensibilities with the ability to analyze in-depth research._
- _ Experience of five years direct scheduling experience and be proficient operating in a multi-database setup._
- _ Broad knowledge and passion for TV, film and online video_
- _ Knowledge of best practices in metadata creation and copywriting_
- _ Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English a must._
- _ Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience_
- _ Great communication skills with all levels of the organization_
- _ Self-starter, independent worker_
- _ Knowledge of US Hispanic market experience_
- _ Availability to work in Mexico City_
