Supplier Quality Development Engineers work with suppliers during product launches to assure new products are provided on-time with the required quality level and reliability; with troubled suppliers in escalation to bring their performance to the correct levels; and evaluating potential new suppliers to supply our company.
**Scholarship**:
Engineer Bachelor Degree

5 years of Automotive Experience

**Knowledge required**:

- AIAG Control Plan, PPAP, MSA, VDA and AIAG FMEA, SPC (Core Tools), AIAG CQI-19 Sub-supplier Management
- AIAG CQI Process Requirements
- Customer-Specific Requirements for GM, Ford, Stellantis, VW, Nissan, Honda, BMW, Mercedes
- Tooling and check fixture design and approval, GD&T
- PDCA and Six Sigma Problem Solving, Lean Manufacturing
- ISO19011 / Guideline audits
- IATF 16949 / 2nd part auditor certificate
- VDA 6.3 / auditor certificate

**Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities Are**:

- Plan and lead APQP and PPAP with suppliers and cross-functional Inalfa team in launches
- Facilitate seamless tool and business transfers from underperforming suppliers to new
- Lead potential supplier evaluations by auditing to IATF 16949 and VDA standards
- Lead internal and second-party system, process, and product audits
- Manage issue escalations and corrective actions with suppliers
- Coordinate component engineering changes affecting entire region or globally
- Use advanced problem solving skills to resolve difficult problems
- Strong GD&T, tool, and check fixture knowledge. Experience with check fixture design and build
- Travel required up to 75% in Mexico, the United States and other countries
- Interface professionally with Customers, Suppliers, Purchasing, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, and Operations, and Third Party sorting company.
