**About this role**:
What will you be responsible for?

**In this role you will**:
Here is a snapshot of what your day-to-day will look like:
Establish and chair a site-wide SEA (Site Electrical Authority) to provide oversite and governance to the compliance of electrical standards and procedures across the Peñasquito operation.
Conduct analysis of compliance to the Electrical Standards and develop implementation roadmap and execution plans.
Provide guidance to key electrical contract workgroups including Siemens and AMY.
Liaise with all electrical stakeholder workgroups across the operation to ensure a consistent approach and management of electrical standards and procedures.
Provide coaching and leadership development for electrical leadership roles across the operation.
Implement and support site-wide and corporate systems to meet agreed service delivery levels of fixed plant installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs of electrical systems.
Monitor electrical maintenance systems performance and formulate alternatives and improvements to systems and methods.
Liaise with the supply team to identify and lead critical electrical spares across the operation.
Provide specialist diagnostic support as the need arises.

Here is what we would need to see from you

**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- Diploma in Business Management or equivalent.
- Planning and Resource Management qualifications.

**Experience**
- Experience in Expiate Electrical roles for mineral processing operations.
- 8-10 years of experience working in the role of Senior Electrical Engineer/Superintendent or equivalent, with strong experience leading electrical teams in maintaining large mineral processing plants.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems including High Voltage, Medium Voltage & Low voltage, Instrumentation, and Process Control.
- 8-10 years of experience in fixed plant electrical Asset Management, supervision, and preventative maintenance programs.

**Skills and Abilities**
- Proficient in **English and Spanish**.**:

**Working Conditions and Location**:
Where you will be located

Position is located in Peñasquito Mazapil, Zacatecas Mexico. The mine is a remote site located in a warm, semi-dessert climate.

Accommodation is in a camp/village environment near the workplace.

The rotational roster will be 4 days on site 3 off x 5 days on site 2 off.

Position may be required to travel to domestic and international sites.
