Cost Accountant

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead of the management of the standard cost system
- Lead of the reporting of manufacturing costs and manufacturing variances and proactively inform the management team when risk situations on reaching targets.
- Identified potential savings related to production efficiency
- Full control of scrap top offenders on production.
- Lead in the development and implementation of operational accounting best practices
- Financial lead in the reporting and management of inventory
- Support Operations and Commercial teams in costing related analysis and decision making
- Assist or lead in the monthly close and reporting process
- Assist in the annual Audit process
- P&L Deep Analysis
- Profitability analysis by business division
- Gross profit Analysis per product/ customer
- Assist in the annual operative planning process
- Proactively identify, support and coordinate report automation opportunities
- Capex responsible
- Cost analysis and cost standard calculation.
- Develop proficiency in SAP to become a site system leader.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or equivalent required
- CPA or CMA designation preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in manufacturing environment is required.
- Proficiency in computer and related software programs (SAP, Oracle, MS Office tools)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Accounting or Finance in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in participating and/or managing multiple on-going projects individually or with other team members.
- Ability to work independently with high degree of initiative and highly motivated.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- High level of commitment, creativity, teamwork and good assertiveness
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to form strong working relationships and communicate well with team members at all organizational levels.
- Hands-on attitude
