Serving three primary markets - passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway equipment - Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.
**Job Purpose**:
Direct, coordinate and control the operations, Human Resources and productive and non-productive materials of the Monterrey plant, based on customer requirements, quality systems and the strategic plan of the business, developing a culture oriented to continuous improvement, safety, quality and productivity, in order to comply with quality, quantity and timeliness with the customer's product commitments.
**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:
Participar en conjunto con el equipo de Gerentes en la elaboración del plan Estratégico de Negocio y los planes de producción, tomando como base los requerimientos del cliente, a fin de cumplir en calidad y oportunidad con dichos requerimientos.
Dirigir y controlar la logística operacional de la planta y las labores de ensamble a fin de garantizar la correcta y oportuna elaboración y entrega de productos a los clientes.
Dirigir y controlar la operación del sistema de calidad para prever desviaciones y correcciones del producto contra las especificaciones del cliente y evitar desperdicios, quejas, garantías y sobre costo del producto.
Vigilar que se mantengan los costos dentro de los límites establecidos en el plan estratégico del negocio a fin de que se conserve y mejore la rentabilidad de la operación.
Generar una cultura de mejora continua, calidad y trabajo en equipo entre el personal a fin de lograr un ambiente agradable de trabajo y evitar conflictos laborales.
Promover el liderazgo efectivo entre los diversos de mando de la planta, desarrollando un ambiente de honestidad y confianza que favorezca la comunicación y el trabajo en equipo a fin de lograr los objetivos establecidos en la empresa.
Asegurar el embarque y entrega de los productos terminados en tiempo y secuencia para cumplir con los requisitos del cliente.
Coordinar la implantación de nuevos procesos y líneas de producción en la planta asegurando su operación, calidad y confiabilidad para entregar productos de acuerdo a los requerimientos del cliente.
Contribuir a la solución de problemas internos
Asegurar la implantación del sistema de calidad y la certificación IATF 16949, vigilando que se corrijan las áreas de oportunidad detectadas en la auditoria, a fin de producir productos de calidad y satisfacer las necesidades del cliente.
