Gestionar las actividades de desarrollo de productos para un único producto, especialidad técnica/función de producto o proceso, logrando la estrategia a corto y largo plazo para cumplir los requisitos de calidad, funcionalidad, voz del cliente y ventaja competitiva.

**Funciones y responsabilidades**:
Dirigir las iniciativas de desarrollo de productos para un único producto, función de producto o etapa en el proceso de diseño del producto, incluida la preparación y gestión de la actividad de desarrollo y el presupuesto según los calendarios establecidos en el Plan Operativo Anual (POA) y el Plan a Largo Plazo (PLP).

Identificar e impulsar la mejora continua en el proceso de desarrollo de productos, los sistemas de ingeniería y la base de datos de especificaciones técnicas.

Garantizar que el equipo responda y resuelva los problemas de campo y de garantía de la línea de productos asignada. Mejorar la calidad del producto, la fiabilidad y el coste del sistema mediante programas de garantía y de mejora de los costes de calidad.

Responsable del impacto financiero global del desarrollo de un solo producto, función de producto y/o fase.

Garantiza que el equipo diseñe teniendo en cuenta la fabricabilidad y el impacto del coste final del producto para el cliente.

Proponer y gestionar el presupuesto anual para alcanzar los objetivos de desarrollo de productos en Norteamérica. Mantener siempre una perspectiva global para el desarrollo de nuevos productos, de modo que cumplan los criterios de fabricación y distribución en todo el mundo.

Apoyar el proceso de ideación para poner en marcha nuevas ideas para productos futuros y existentes para el Plan a Largo Plazo (PLP).

Utilizar enfoques innovadores para resolver problemas, implicar al equipo, idear líneas de actuación para el desarrollo de nuevas técnicas o procesos y remodelar líneas de actuación existentes cuando la oportunidad de innovar esté limitada por un gran volumen de prácticas aceptadas.

Dirigir un pequeño equipo que puede incluir ingenieros, técnicos de ingeniería y estudiantes cooperativos.

Organizar eficazmente las principales tareas y objetivos para los subordinados directos y el personal de apoyo.

Supervisar activamente los proyectos y realizar los cambios de personal y recursos necesarios para cumplir los objetivos del proyecto.

**Requisitos del puesto**:
Experiência liderando y desarrollando equipos de ingeniería en el desarrollo de un único producto, función de producto y/o esfuerzo de mejora/optimización de producto.

Clara comprensión de los procesos de desarrollo y validación de productos y de las necesidades de los clientes conseguida a través de la experiência con uno o más productos, distribuidores y clientes de la empresa.

Capacidad para establecer relaciones sólidas con otras funciones de la organización. Capacidad para desarrollar y orientar a ingenieros en distintos níveles de sus carreras. Enfoque creativo y visionario de los proyectos con capacidad para influir en la innovación a través de múltiples organizaciones y níveles mediante la aptitud técnica y la comprensión de los puntos fuertes del equipo.

Gran capacidad para liderar el cambio, hacer frente a la ambigüedad y aportar soluciones creativas e influir en equipos multidisciplinares con datos, razonamiento científico y grandes dotes de coaching.

Experiência básica en metodologías y herramientas de gestión de proyectos.

- Formación requerida: Licenciatura en Agricultura y Biosistemas o Mecánica. Preferiblemente, máster en Administración de Empresas.
