**Powertrain Ventures** is accelerator program dedicated to discovering and nurturing the next wave of innovative startups in the LATAM region. Our mission is to support these startups through funding, mentorship, and strategic programs designed to propel them to the forefront of their industries.

**Goal**: Your goal is to build relationships with these startups and integrate them into our suite of support programs, helping to fuel their growth and success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Actively research and identify promising startups in the LATAM region, leveraging both online and offline methods.
- Engage with founders and startup teams to assess their fit for our programs, focusing on their innovation potential, market fit, and team dynamics.
- Maintain and expand a network of contacts within the startup ecosystem, including incubators, accelerators, and co-working spaces.
- Work closely with our investment and program teams to provide insights and recommendations on potential program participants.
- Attend industry events, pitch days, and other relevant gatherings to represent our firm and discover new opportunities.
- Provide ongoing support and follow-up with startups that are under consideration or have been selected to participate in our programs.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Exceptional networking skills and the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders in the startup ecosystem.
- Basic analytical skills, with the ability to quickly assess the potential of a startup based on limited information.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working with startups is highly preferred. A background in venture capital is a significant plus.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to travel within the LATAM region as required.

**Compensation**:

- We offer a competitive base salary plus a commission structure that rewards high performance and successful introductions to our programs.
