The IT Product/Platform Owner is accountable for owning and prioritizing product/platform backlog items and for overall tactical value delivery in the Product Lifecycle.
Responsible for maximizing value of the product/platform and the work of the development team. Works closely with the IT Product/Platform manager to ensure that releases are reflective of product strategy (i.e. Vision and Roadmap) and receiver needs, and acts as a key information conduit for the development team. As the owner of the Product/Platform backlog, is accountable for the backlog items prioritization and for the overall tactical value delivery in the Product Lifecycle

**Key Responsibilities**:
Product/Platform roadmap, prioritization and stakeholder management:
Establish product roadmap in line with Product/Platform Manager vision and directions, manage product backlog, define projects & implements agile project methodologies
Establish product governance & commit sponsors
Manage the interdependencies between a product’s features in scope
Establish milestones based roadmap plan & parallel value delivery plan
Lead the development and maintenance of stakeholder mapping, communications and reporting
Lead reviews with executive sponsor and stakeholders to identify organic or specific product needs
Measure business cases (optional, decided by Business sponsor)
Coordinate, prioritize and validate the Product items work of tech teams
Ensure readyness of User Stories
Drive Backlog grooming for backlog items clarifications

Research & Segmentation leads to correct positioning and as a consequence to strategy definition:
Uses their deep understanding of the business capabilities to segment IS / IT customers and consumers based on their needs and profile. Provides an outside in based view of how to best target each segment

Product/Platform Analytics:

- Provides performance manager with relevant data in an automated way in accordance to performance management requirements (real-time, etc.)

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Partners with business and IS/IT to elicit, analyze, translate, and document business requirements, pain points or opportunities into IS/IT requirements
- Supports Product Manager and Product Group Manager to facilitate both strategy and innovation planning with BRM/FRMs and business stakeholders
- Consults with Product Group teams and proposes alternative solutions. Oversees the advisory on options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impact on other business processes and product priorities

Governance:

- Participates in the IS/IT governance processes that enable prioritization across multiple options
- Supports the business governance processes (e.g. automation that would remove business headcounts or drastically impact business ways of working)
- Partnering withn Solution Architects to ensure compliance and data security guidelines of the designed solution, in line with Nestlé internal controls framework

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably computer science or field related to the product
- Demonstrated experience in a product based IS/IT organization
- 5+ years experience in IS/IT (e.g. Product Owner, BA, PM, etc.)
- Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience with effective communication at different levels in the organization and in English
- Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams
- Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments
- Experience in coordinating,prioritizing and validating tech teams and vendors work
