OVERVIEW
The Graphic Designer will work collaboratively within Axalta’s marketing team to support the Premium and Mainstream segments of Refinish globally. The role requires a self-starter who is experienced in a wide variety of sales and marketing material design, product label design, and a mix of other projects that require original design or editing / production work.
This role requires a flexible individual who can balance a variety of projects that have tight deadlines and have an outstanding eye for design.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate within the internal Premium and Mainstream Marketing Communications teams to design and update marketing materials, including proposals, presentations, sell sheets, brochures, training materials, and more to drive customer gains and retention.
- Build tools to obtain and retain partners, including presentations, workbooks, and more.
- Package files, draft the print specifications for production at the local level, and post to the sales enablement system.
- Support local activations with event / exhibit material designs that adhere to the segment, brand, or corporate brand guidelines.
- Design and update an extensive portfolio of product labels.
- Provide design guidance to colleagues who are building external-facing premium / mainstream segment documentation, such as training, product information, and more.
- Create tables, charts, graphs, illustrations, and other visuals as needed.
- Ensure brand standards are consistently applied to all materials.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- 2 years of graphic design experience in a corporate or agency environment
- Possess deep understanding of graphic design principles, color theories, typography, and the nuances of print and digital specifications
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Highly collaborative team player who works well others but also independently
- Ability to foster positive relationships with colleagues and partners
- Video editing experience a plus
