**Title**: OFP Quality Engineer - Monterrey
**Primary Location**: Mexico (MX) - Nuevo León IJD Santa Catarina
**Function**: Quality Engineering

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Provides quality planning, control and improvement support for product development teams (PDP), manufacturing engineering, supply management and operations, to assure John Deere product meets the customer expectations. Also this position, fully integrates an individual into the engineering culture by performing specific quality engineering assignments that are limited in scope, depth and degree of skill required.

**What Skills You Need**:

- Uses quality planning tools and analysis to formulate/facilitate quality plans for new products within the product delivery, order fulfillment or customer support processes (OFP).
- Participate on PDP (product delivery process) teams as equality representative ensuring quality activities and plants are formulated and followed.
- Uses quality tools and practices to establish approval criteria to ensure the identification of quality failure concerns for both internal and external manufactured parts and assemblies (FMEA).
- Investigates unit quality related issues and concerns related to product and processes, gathers and analyzes data, resolves or facilitates resolution and implement corrective action.
- Perform quality audits, including supporting international standard organization (ISO) and maintains quality manual.
- Investigate product and process quality related issues and recommends changes to control plans and or prints.
- Investigates product quality problems, determines root cause for quality problems, gathers and analyze data and implements corrective action to reduce or eliminate non value waste resulting from non-conformances, scrap or reclaim.
- Assist in reviews and investigations of warranty claim information.
- Support the continuous improvement process and have contact with suppliers as needed.

**What Makes You Stand Out**
- Knowledge of standard quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, APQP.
- Skill in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, tooling and quality core tools.
- Knowledge of drawing and schematic interpretation product, models, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Skills in using power apps such as PBI.

**Education**:

- Industrial Engineer, Mechatronic Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Chemical Engineer.
