We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a Senior
**Security Architect**

**What you’ll do**:

- Provide guidance and support on product direction to ensure security is built into the design.
- Advise and educate development groups on security process.
- Foster better security culture through encouraging teams to be onboarded into a common development pipeline or CI/CD.
- Identify security gaps as it relates to established security standards and polices.
- Explain practical risks and real-world implication associated with security findings or observations.
- Communicate so the business can and will understand the value of security to prioritize security more effectively.

**Preferred experience**:

- Application Security
- Container Security
- Secure Software Development Lifecycle
- DevSecOps
- Cloud Security Architecture
- Governance, Risk, and Compliance
- Threat and Vulnerability Management
- Security Information Event Management
- Identity and Access Management
- Incident Response / Handling
- Familiarity with secure architecture, design principles, and best practices with an emphasis on implementation of security controls in a hybrid infrastructure.
- Practical knowledge of treating risks using common infrastructure/security controls.
- Ability to influence action within a matrixed organization and cross-functional teams.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- (10) or more years of relevant information/cyber security experience.
- Big4 IT/risk management consulting /advisory experience.
- Prior experience working in an Agile environment.
- Industry standard vendor-neutral information security (CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP, CISM, CRISC) and/or vendor-specific enterprise architect/security architect certification (TOGAF Foundation, Zachman, SABSA Chartered - Foundation)
- Vendor-level Cloud certifications (Amazon, Microsoft, Google) are a plus.
