Donaldson is currently hiring within our Industrial Solutions group. Our Inventory Planner I will be responsible for maintaining inventory information systems to ensure availability of accurate and current data on inventory levels. This position will work with sales, customer service, quality, engineering, suppliers, accounting, and others as necessary to meet our customer needs.

Role Responsibilities:

- Initiates and expedites vendor purchase orders and interplant release to ensure timely product availability.
- Communicates frequently with, sales personnel and customer service.
- Responds to customer demands in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintains working relationships with the manufacturing facilities and suppliers to reduce lead times; improve inventory control and ensure on time delivery.
- Establishes and maintains inventory information systems on purchased and manufactured parts to ensure availability of accurate and current data on inventory levels, quantity, excessive inventory, shortages, etc.
- Communicates with vendors and plants regarding order status.

**Requirements**:
Knows and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of inventory planning and transactional procurement.

Other required skills:

- Strong oral and written communication
- Analytic skills
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to facilitate multiple programs daily.
- Proficient in Excel (Vlookup, basic Pivot tables)

Qualifications:

- Experience with Oracle R12 preferred but not required.
- Advanced English-written and verbal.
