**Function**:Marketing / Sales

- This professional can articulate the proper technology value message and create the enablers into dealer structure be able to deliver it to customers.
- Works with Territory Managers on areas such as dealer development, marketing analysis, planning. Shares sales revenues responsibility related to assigned technology Solutions, also Dealer profitability on solutions development, selling and delivery, also customer satisfaction through the closest fit between the solution and customer needs.
- Works with Precision Ag organization and branch teams providing feedback on farming systems, trends, agronomic practices, market positioning, competition movements to increase robustness of tactics and planning.

**What Skills You Need**:

- Marketing experience.
- Selling directly to an end-user customer in a retail environment.
- Field experience with regular customer contact, knowledge of dealer/distribution network and broad product knowledge.
- Experience delivering training and/or teaching others.
- Communication skills in one of the languages (Spanish, English) are desired.
- Practical experience with John Deere machinery, equipment and technology applied on grains and/or sugar cane crop.
- Segments with proper understanding of production steps and agronomic practices applied.

**What Makes You Stand Out**:

- Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools.
- Fundamental skills in Engineering Principles such as Forces, Stress, Material Properties etc.
- Knowledge in engineering principles, theory and practice as well as product knowledge.
- Knowledge of industry Product Verification & Validation processes and execution methodologies.
- Knowledge of Product Delivery Process programs.
- Fundamental understanding of machine forms relevant to the specific job assignment and Company division/unit. Knowledge/familiarity with machines manufactured by competitors.

**Special Considerations**:

- Availability to travel up to 50% of time.
- Potentially support customer and dealer events, farm shows, etc

**Education**:

- University degree in an Agricultural Sciences discipline Engineering/Technology, Business/Management discipline or equivalent experience.discipline.
