Ensure the technical availability of the equipment within the plant is in accordance with the established business plan by measuring them through indicators such as: Available Time, MTBF, MTTR among others. Ensure that the cost of maintenance is within target, as well as the cost level of MRO inventory related to your area, complying with BW standards and work policies.
- Responsible for the areas of electromechanical maintenance, controls and building maintenance (fascilities).
- Manage technical and human resources to keep equipment, machinery and buildings available to meet customer requirements on time, with the required quality at the minimum applicable cost.
- Demonstrate by example positive leadership in a manner that is coherent and consistent with the principles of the organization.
- Ensure that maintenance activities are carried out with the expected quality and can be improved based on lessons learned.
- Executes the maintenance budget considering its optimization.
- Ensures that the different phases of maintenance, preventive, predictive and corrective are established and applied optimally in the equipment and facilities of the plant.
- Ensures that the instructions for the execution of maintenance are generated correctly and adequately to the activity to be performed.
- Coordinate with internal customers (PLM) their collaboration in the execution of maintenance work in each area.
- Coordinate with the other areas of the plant the facilities and support required in the planning and execution of maintenance.
- Ensures the compliance of his area in the different systems of the plant: Quality Management, Environmental, Safety and C-TPAT.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining maintenance procedures and routines for all existing equipment and machinery through SAP.
- Ensures the availability of spare parts necessary for the proper maintenance of the different equipment in accordance with the policies defined for the acquisition of parts.
- Responsible for inventory levels within MRO in order to optimize working capital and prevent obsolescence.
- Responsible for training personnel in the organization in different maintenance techniques (e.g. TPM, autonomous maintenance, etc.).
- Actively works on actions to maintain and improve the KPI's of his area and the plant in general.
- Ensures the availability and proper use of tools, spare parts and hardware needed for productive machinery.
- Drives costs within expectations and promotes improvement initiatives.
- Leader in the construction of infrastructure required in plant modifications or expansions.
- Ensure equipment adherence to ergonomic and JSA safety guidelines.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement.
