**Responsibilities**:
- Define and own a process for current state for AHU programming ensuring a process maturity of 4.0 within the 1st year though continuous improvement in engineering practices.
- Provide guidance, analyze and execute existing code to catch up on current software and systems.
- Work cross-functional team such as software and systems architects to implement software into production engineering product changes.
- Lead the design and implementation of software solutions in a cloud environment as part of future process state.
- Be a technology champion and effectively use new technologies to build cutting edge software products.
- Documentation and maintenance of code over time.
- Utilize Agile methodologies for product changes.
- Mentor junior team members, dedicate high percentage or the day to day activities to develop process partners in order to create expertise within the local AHU team.
- Fast response and troubleshoot/diagnose production issues.
- Ensure strong commitment to meeting deliverables with a quality product.
- Mentor and provide technical support as an internal consultant in the trial-manufacture of new products, software, follow up and resolve software issues
- Manage production releases.
**Qualifications**:
- BA/BS degree in Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
- 5+ Experience with parametric design and customized products.
- Accretive communication with key members of the organization.
- Goes above and beyond basic requirements to support their own team and others.
- Demonstrate a strong leadership by the generation of a positive influence with other team members.
