**IT Database Administrator**

**Your tasks**:

- Responsible for equipment uptime and system integrity, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Monitor database integrity, assure robust 24/7 availability
- Management / maintenance of a secure and reliable backup and restore model across all databases
- Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and performance analysis for database systems (SQL Server 2005+, Oracle Server 9-12)
- Strives for system performance and continuous improvement
- Participate in annual systems FMEA and contingency plans, and helps to manage corrective actions
- Organizes and coordinates the update/maintenance activities required for patches, updates, and fixes
- Designs / oversees the overall database communication architecture and continuity according to best practice and LEONI specific requirements
- Incident, Problem, and Change Management according to LEONI standards
- Request Fulfillment in regard to security or other database-related requests

**Your skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree of Information System Management or related
- At least 5 years of professional experience
- Microsoft and Oracle certifications and/or relevant background and experience working in the technologies: SQL Server 2005+, Oracle Server 9-12.
- knowledge for physical on-premises, virtual and cloud-based system architectures as applied to database environments.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Both written and verbal)
