DevOps Engineer

You have a deep understanding of the development and operations processes, a strong technical background, and know how to deploy and manage code changes with the rest of the development team. You are an expert at keeping any system running smoothly and understanding the IT infrastructure of any place inside and outside is almost second nature to you.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will build new technical solutions to improve the overall technical capabilities of our projects, design and implement enhancements for our automated release pipelines, optimize our cloud infrastructure, and train other technical staff to operate and maintain those new processes.

You will also collaborate with Engineering and QA to integrate quality gates into our release pipelines, monitor our production environments for outages and/or vulnerabilities, and document processes to remediate these issues ASAP. You also have excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish. Great On the more technical side

**WHAT YOU HAVE**:

- 3 years of experience in DevOps Engineering, IT Administration, or Software Development.
- Expert in foundational web hosting technology (SSL/TLS, DNS, VPCs, CDNs, edge networks, cloud technology providers, serverless functions, etc.)
- Expert in the utilization of at least one cloud service provider (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
- Expert knowledge of infrastructure orchestration/administration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, TerraForm, AWS CDK, etc.)
- Expert knowledge of automated deployment pipeline triggers (AWS Code Pipeline, Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Familiarity with various programming languages (Node.js, C#, Python, PowerShell, bash, etc.)

If you have that, we already are very interested in meeting you. But you will also obtain tons of bonus points if you also can offer
- A history of success delivering complex CI/CD (green/blue) pipelines to engineering teams.
- Experience configuring system monitors and alerting tools.
- Experience with distributed computing and enterprise software.
- Experience mentoring software engineers to improve their skills and influencing them in best practices.
- Experience working with SQL and RDBMS (e.g., MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience training junior engineers and empowering non-technical staff
- Experience with the scrum framework.
- Comfort when addressing ambiguity.

**THE JOURNEY**:
We know your time is valuable, so know the whole process will take about 2 weeks. There will be 4 interviews total (an initial one with Human Capital, a technical skill one, one with an Account Manager, and probably one with the client at the end), possibly with a technical test, if necessary.
