**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Position Summary**:
The Expeditor will work very closely with the Customer Excellence Representative & operations team. They will be responsible to expedite & provide priorities to operations team and provide ship dates for backlog and open orders. Expeditor will also be responsible for delivery & shipment creation.

**Essential Functions**:

- Print & separate deliveries of automatic batch run
- Create & update shipments (SID)
- Lead daily Delivery meetings & update Customer Profile report
- Expedite critical finished goods with operations/planning team
- Provide ship dates to Customer Excellence Representatives, as requested
- Update daily reports as instructed by your Supervisor.
- Utilize the required tracking tools to provide short and mid-term visibility of customer demand
- Track and provide RCCA on Error Tracking Logs
- Perform Root Cause Analysis and define permanent corrective actions to resolve order fulfillment errors
- Support system/process enhancements to improve customer alignment/management, such as reducing/eliminating manual work and providing better visibility to customer orders and their potential delivery issues
- Maintain the required metrics to measure customer service effectiveness that will lead to customer satisfaction, such as average response time on information needs, on time delivery, shipping errors, past due backlog and other relevant metrics
- Utilize the required tracking tools to provide short and midterm visibility of customer requirements and past due items
- Knows and Communicates the need for product safety.
- Support PSA Activities and procedures with team members.
- The employee has the authority to stop the production line, when he/she notices that the product has a quality problem or defect.
- Perform all those activities that by the nature of the position are required.

**Management & Supervisory Responsibilities**:

- Reports to Customer Service Supervisor
- Job **is** **NOT directly** responsible for managing other employees. Co-ops or students may report to this position.

**Knowledge**:
Knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration, effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of Account Management experience
- Customer Scorecards - Delivery Performance Metrics preferred
- Automotive or related industry preferred

**Skills**:

- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure with strong emotional intelligence skills to properly manage conflict
- Team player with the ability to work independently with mínimal guidance

**Education/Certifications**:
High School Degree
