**Designerds **is a rapidly growing creative agency, born in San Francisco and now spanning the U.S. We are currently seeking an experienced After Effects Motion Graphics/Animator to join our incredible team.

At Designerds, the **Animator** is able to work on a variety of projects, styles, and techniques with a group of amazing designers and creatives. They collaborate with others to create high-level animation work for our various clients, and at times directly with the client. They are highly efficient, communicative, and organized. They can transition in and out of projects smoothly and present a high level of professionalism and originality. They are able to lead projects from start to finish to produce exceptional quality.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and produce exceptional animations/motion graphics work in a variety of styles from concept to delivery for Fortune 500 companies
- Generate strong ideas through building and illustrating style-frames and visual storyboards, and executing them flawlessly to bring them to life on screen
- Concept both independently and collaboratively and present ideas
- Motion related tasks can include: designing and producing 2D (and occasionally 3D graphics), kinetic type, background treatments, transition elements, type design and font selection, intros, end tags, animated logos, character animation and rigging, minor audio editing and clean-up, and stock/online footage collection and editing
- Accurately estimate and manage time
- Follow schedules set by the project manager
- Work within requirements and constraints of brand guidelines and platforms
- Communicate productively with other animators, designers, producers, and directors
- Efficiently respond to feedback and revisions
- Provide animation guidance and feedback on a wide range of studio projects
- Ability to do light editorial work in Adobe Premiere is a plus

**Requirements**:

- Expert knowledge of the Adobe Suite
- You have at least 3-5 years of experience as an After Effects Animator with a strong portfolio
- Proficient in Sketch and Figma
- Proficient knowledge of animation fundamentals
- Good design sensibility and innovative style
- Excellent organization, communication, time management, collaboration, self-tasking, and listening skills
- Pro-activeness and positivity
- Flexible and works great under deadlines
- Supporting software knowledge or techniques a plus (Cinema 4D, storyboarding, etc.)
- Able to be responsive during core business hours, M-F 9-5 Pacific Standard Time
