**Senior Software Engineer**

**About You**
- You’re a fit for the role of _**_Senior Software Engineer_**_ if you have:_

**Basic qualifications**:

- Experience with **AWS** cloud platform
- Experience with infrastructure automation using AWS CloudFormation
- 4+ years’ experience with software development using one or more programming languages, preferably **Java **or Python
- Experience working as a DevOps engineer in a cloud environment (preferably AWS)
- 1+ year experience with build and deploy tools such as AWS Code Build and AWS Code Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Gradle

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with Agile development practices
- Certified AWS Developer or Solutions architect
- Experience working with database technologies, especially cloud solutions such as AWS Aurora/MySQL or AWS DynamoDB
- Good understanding of DevOps practices as well as embracing a CI/CD mindset
- Proficiency in system monitoring, especially using DataDog
- Comfortable with Linux operating system and shell scripting
