Planner

**Job Overview**:
To create master Schedule with over all scope with Engineering, Procurement, Construction departments, as well as schedule maintenance through weekly monitoring and generate executive reports required by Project Manager, Direction and Client

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Develop project Schedule based on contractual scope using Primavera P6 Project Planner.
- Calculate in GMPS System _(Global McDermott Progressing System) _the progress and productivity by disciplines, using Actual Hours in Kronos System and the physical progress by the Production Engineers.
- Generate Factsheet (progress and productivity) of the project in GMPS System to evaluate cumulative and weekly performance by discipline.
- Identify the critical path using Primavera P6 Project Planner for validation with superintendents and Project Manager.
- Arrange weekly the meeting 4wla (4 weeks look ahead) whit PMT _(Project team) _to review schedule, progress and productivities.
- Prepare weekly project report integrated by s-curves, histograms and forecasts project completion dates to provide a general status of the project.
- Prepare the monthly executive report in the PRDB System _(Project Review Data Base) _to present the overall status of the project to the managements, including s-curves, histograms and forecast project completion.
- Identify changes, risks and opportunities in the scheduled activities in relation to the contractual scope of the project to help management in decision-making.
- Develop key milestones plan such as: first cut, major liftings, rolling frames, ready for load out and sail away to tracking and achievement.
- Elaborate the procurement program in the Excel format established to monitor the principal equipments of the project. The dates provided should be incorporated in the overall project schedule in Primavera P6 Project Planner.
- Perform weekly walks through the yard to generate the reports with photographic evidence of most important activities such as lifting, rolling frames, equipment installation, load out and sail away of the structures.
- Ensure use of personal protective equipment during the weekly yard walks to accomplish with security polices of the company.
- Comply with McDermott global procedures relating to Project Control Department to standardize the planning process.

**Essential Qualifications and Education**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar position.
- Engineer or profesional career.

**Preferred Qualifications and Education**:

- Primavera P6 knowledge construction projects.
- Microsoft Project Planner basic knowledge.
- Intermediate English level (speaking and writing)
- Planning expertise on Pemex projects.
- Microsoft Office Intermediate level.
- Knowledge in Adobe Acrobat.
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Focused on problems solving.
- Work under pressure.
