**Fitch US Corporates Group is currently seeking an Analyst within the Leveraged Finance team based out of our Monterrey office.**

**We’ll Count on You To**:

- Perform data analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors influencing the Leveraged Finance sector, including Middle Market borrowers, in support of new research;
- Become an expert on the model used to derive credit opinion recommendations
- Take ownership of a large number of credits to which Fitch assigns a credit assessment using a model
- Prepare internal reports tracking key operational trends to inform senior staff and empower them to make good strategic planning decisions within the department
- Occasionally collaborate with senior team members to publish research on Leveraged Finance and Middle Market/Private Debt topics, for Fitch’s external audience which includes institutional investors, private equity sponsors, private debt funds, CLO managers, HY mutual fund managers and credit hedge funds.

**What You Need to Have**:

- 1-2 years of relevant experience;
- Bachelor's degree required;
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel;
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to shift fluidly between multiple projects as priorities change;
- Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment;
