**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Be a great team player in an **agile environment** with the ability **to collaborate closely** with engineers, product managers, technical product managers, and other UX designers to create accessible, elegant, and engaging user interfaces while balancing technical and delivery constraints.

**Effectively communicate** conceptual ideas, detailed design, design rationale, and research findings **verbally and visually.**
- **Creates**, evaluates, and modifies user experience designs (user interface comps, visual design specs, prototypes, and other visual assets) for medium-sized, diverse projects.
- **Demonstrates** up-to-date expertise in user experience design and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans.
- **Generates** overall user experience solution and takes ownership of the usability within feasibility limits
- **Embrace** ambiguity and bring clarity to complex problems by independently tracking down answers and validating with stakeholders.
- **Advocate** for users is** highly proactive** & gets the job done.
- Bachelor’s Degree and 7 -10 years of design experience OR Master’s Degree and six years of design experience and two years of web development experience.
- Familiar with working with US counterparts and has processes to do so.
- Capable of handling Design requirements and Discovery for two scrum teams independently.
- A strong design portfolio that demonstrates how you design to solve business requirements and customer needs.
- Stellar interaction design skills and visual skills with experience in handling UX research & discovery independently on multiple projects and creating personas, user journeys, and design systems
- Excellent grasp of design thinking process with the know-how to move from pencil to paper to layout to pixel-perfect handoff using Figma/Sketch/Framer/Adobe XD/Illustrator/Photoshop etc.
- Develops wireframes and prototypes easily and can conduct usability tests to iterate on designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights.
- Has creative ideas with a problem-solving mindset and is open to embracing feedback, and **is expected to contribute to our Continuous Improvement goals**
- Understand complex requirements and meet strict deadlines and are familiar with conducting design reviews with other **designers, cross-functional stakeholders & clients **focusing on solving user problems.
- Strong personal management skills. **Must be able to function autonomously and be a team contributor across multiple scrum teams.**
- Have excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- **Extensive knowledge of implementing HTML/CSS/JS & **ability to build designs, understanding the intricacies of the same.** **Hands-on experience working with CSS preprocessors like LESS and SASS. Proficiency with JavaScript libraries - React JS, AngularJS, and VueJS.
- Able to play a mentor role for less experienced team members & help them reach a similar level in their roles & responsibilities while being an individual contributor to the UX team.
- Collaborates closely with developers to ensure the implementation of design specifications and best practices and good familiarity with SAFE-Agile frameworks.
- Good knowledge of web components (custom elements or tags) or a component library style (Like React)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in design or related field preferred
