**Job Description: Exhibitor Relations**

**Role summary**:
This role represents Sony Pictures Releasing presence at the retail level, in-theatres. Close aimable mature and assertive PR is a must. This position will be a committed, self-starter professional. The Exhibitor Relations reports directly to the Sales Director but providing internal services to the marketing department. Responsible for developing and executing strategies to improve the company's relationship with exhibitors, and to ensure that the company's films are given the best possible exposure in cinemas.

**Core Responsibilities**:
**60%**
- Maintain and nurture long term relationships with multitude of stakeholders within and outside our organization, independently of the organizational levels or hierarchy and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Plan, negotiate, and manage in-theatre materials release strategy and schedules with anticipation to releases to establish and maintain a high level of brand visibility in theatres through public relations.
- Identify, develop, and oversee the accurate processes to streamline workflows, manage budget and other resources wisely. Provide exceptional customer service to exhibitors by answering queries and providing information in a timely and accurate manner.
- Dotted line reporting to HO.
- Work closely with the Promotions Manager and Events to develop, negotiate, and execute promotions, events, stunts, and activations with exhibitors.
- Link between Promotions, Marketing and Sales. Services and works across departments of the organization.
- Communicate with all members of the organization, must be a confident public speaker, presenter, and communicator.
- Prepare presentations highlighting proposed and on-going activities.
- Weekly updates on in-theatre on SONY and competitive film activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of exhibitor interactions, including contact details and history of communications.

**20%**
- Visit cinemas on a constant weekly basis.
- Manage and control of the distribution and placement of SONY titles in-theatre materials.
- Liaise with support resources. IE: Checking, outside agencies, etc.
- Update internal systems with Exhibitor´s related data.

**10%**
- Track exhibitor´s communication (including social media, promotions, media campaigns, cinemagoer behaviour, exit polls, etc) and negotiate better exposure of materials both in theaters and on exhibitors' websites and social networks.
- Externally analyze and report on competitor’s market activities.

**10%**
- Negotiate and coordinate premier screenings.
- Follow up on exhibitor relations budget and purchase orders.
- Follow up the organization of promotions and events.

**Preferred Education**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration/communications/ international relations and/or other associated degrees is required.

**Knowledge**:

- Languages: Advanced / Fluent in English.
- SAP Knowledge, presentation software, digital tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs. (Power Point/Keynote)
- Understand and effectively work with numbers and data in a sales context.
- Understand marketing and promotional basics.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years’ Experience in similar roles; ideally working in international corporations or cinema industry. Knowledge and experience on entertainment industry, Organization of events, Marketing and Publicity, Commercial and retail.
