Hexagon's Autonomy & Positioning division is looking for an experienced **Supply Chain Specialist** to join our fast-paced, global Supply Chain. **Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division**, a global technology leader, pioneering end-to-end solutions industry leaders rely on for assured positioning and autonomy on land, sea, and air. Our work touches every aspect of life, from sustainability on Earth to enabling autonomy. Within the Autonomy & Positioning division your work will contribute to the operation of our brand NovAtel.

**The Location**: Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position is home-based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work in collaboration with suppliers to communicate and implement NovAtel procurement strategies to achieve on time delivery and high-quality performance
- Coordinate purchasing activities with suppliers to acquire materials to meet customer requirements, processing purchase orders and actioning MRP change messages
- Monitor the delivery of Kan Ban and MRP deliveries of assigned portfolio to ensure the highest quality, on-time delivery, and cost are being met
- Provide leadership and direction with suppliers to reduce lead-times while maintaining quality to meet customer and project schedules
- Assist NPI projects in selecting appropriate vendors and promoting use of the preferred vendor list
- Oversee RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes to meet service and project requirements
- Facilitate the flow of information and collaboration with project management, engineering, and supply chain by following Hexagon A&P NPI processes
- Proactively identify potential supply risks and provide mitigation plans to suppliers to meet and achieve service levels and project schedules

Qualifications:
**Must-Have**:

- 3+ years’ experience of procurement, planning, sourcing within a high technology electronics manufacturing or contract manufacturing environment
- 1+ year experience with product development (NPI)
- Experience and use of ERP/MRP, Kanban, Safety stock, and visual manufacturing systems
- Strong analytical skills, business acumen and negotiating skills in dealing with supporting functions (Engineering, Supply Chain, Suppliers and Operations)
- Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office, Advanced Microsoft Office Excel, including the use of macros, Word, and Outlook

**Nice-to-Have**:

- Bachelor's degree or related education in Business, Supply Chain or Operations
- Preferred experience in electronics manufacturing supply chain
- Capable to read basic information on data sets, drawing specs, bills of materials
- Experience working in a continuous improvement environment
- Power BI or other data analytics tools
