**Role**:
We are seeking a Python Scraping/Automation Engineer. You'll be part of a team that's dedicated to using technology to improve healthcare. You'll work on a cutting-edge platform that enables our members to access their health data in real-time, and you'll be challenged to make a difference in people's lives. You will work with our product and engineering teams to create scalable and robust solutions that are user-friendly and highly secure.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Design, Development, and Maintenance**: Take the lead in designing, developing, and maintaining our platform. You will be expected to ensure that all code is of high quality and adheres to best practices in software development. Your role will be crucial in making sure that our platform remains robust, scalable, and future-proof.
- **Cross-functional Collaboration**: Work closely with teams across different functions to brainstorm, design, and implement new features and functionalities. Your contributions will be key to providing our users with a seamless and intuitive experience. Your collaboration and communication skills will be vital as you integrate diverse perspectives into tangible solutions.
- **Technical Problem-Solving**: Identify and address technical challenges, ensuring the platform remains up-to-date and performs at its best. Your problem-solving skills will be crucial in diagnosing issues quickly and implementing effective solutions to maintain the reliability and efficiency of our platform.
- **Code Reviews and Quality Assurance**: Participate actively in code review processes, providing constructive feedback to peers. Your insights will help elevate the overall quality and maintainability of the codebase, fostering a culture of excellence and attention to detail.
- **Mentorship**: Serve as a mentor to junior engineers, guiding them in their professional development. Your role will involve promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth, encouraging team members to expand their skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications/Skills**:

- **Software Engineering Experience**:At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, focusing on Python scripting for web scraping and automation. Demonstrated ability to develop scalable and reliable automation systems, with expertise in managing complex data extraction projects that enhance operational efficiencies and data-driven decision-making.
- ** Programming Expertise**: Advanced proficiency in Python, especially with libraries such as BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, and Selenium for web scraping and automation tasks. Your deep knowledge of Python will be instrumental in developing efficient, robust, and maintainable scripts tailored to navigate and extract data from complex web environments.
- ** Cloud and Containerization Technologies**: Strong experience with cloud-based platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) specifically for deploying scraping and automation workflows. Proficiency in using containerization technologies like Docker to create lightweight, reproducible environments that streamline the deployment of scraping tasks across different infrastructures.
