**Eni**, we are looking for a
**Geoscientist **within
**Eni Mexico **in
**Mexico City**. You will be responsible for providing an integrated interpretation of G&G data, from a regional perspective to prospect/target scale, with the aim to identify and characterize structural and stratigraphic potential HC accumulations. Support the elaboration and definition of the opportunity value based on the HC potential volumes and geological risk, in accordance with Company processes and Best Practices. To assure technical follow-up of exploration projects

**As a member of** **the exploration Team at Eni Mexico **you will be responsible for**:

- Conducting G&G studies necessary to assess the HC potential of Exploration and New Ventures business opportunities, with focus on:

- identifying and reporting key uncertainties in subsurface data interpretations
- providing data input for technical economic evaluation of the exploration projects
- Utilizing broad multi-disciplinary skills in both geology and geophysics, and their sub-disciplines.
- Evaluating a wide range of opportunities within the exploration domain, supporting their inclusion in work program & budget proposals.
- Integrating the understanding of petroleum systems in diverse geologic settings using both geologic and geophysical data.
- Identifying prospects and leads integrating the understanding of basin genetics, integration of structure and stratigraphy, hydrocarbon systems (HCS) evolution.
- Generating new plays, (leads and prospects) and propose the relevant testing, including the recommendation and planning of a drilling program, providing geologic and economic assessments.
- Advising on and recommend data purchases based on strategy, data quality, and exploration problem analysis.
- Performing follow-up of exploration and appraisal drilling activity, assuring technical support for operational decisions.
- Assuring reporting of performed drilling activities and contribute to post-drill evaluation by providing relevant data and information
- Working within a multi-functional team to develop realistic resource size distributions and objective risk assessments.
- Ensuring effective communication and reporting to Management, Partners and NOC's.

- experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
- Knowledge of Italian, English and Spanish
- Geology or Geophysics** **Engineering degree

- DRILLING: Drilling Activities; Completion Activities;
- GEOLOGY: Geochemistry; Basin Geology; Structural Geology; Sedimentology; Petrography; Stratigraphy; Well Data Acquisition & Eval.; Petrophysics; Res. Characterization;
- GLOBAL: E&P Business Management; R&D; Data Management; Tender & Contracting; Project Management; Risk Analysis & Management; Economics Evaluation; Organization Processes; Workflow & Best Practice; Reserves;
- HSEQ: HSE, Quality compliance; EnvironmentMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc). & Technical G&G software’s

**Location**:
Mexico City, Administrative activities in the office. Monday to Friday

**Contract type**:
24 months, fixed term
