What you’ll do

Maintain, troubleshoot and repair cathodic protection, internal corrosion monitoring and

above/below ground coating systems

Manage and coordinate usage of third-party contractors for corrosion surveys and cathodic

protection system installations

Provide training, coaching and mentoring to other field personnel who perform corrosion

control activities
- Maintain company records to assure compliance with regulatory requirements

Provide technical expertise to assess and resolve design, operating and maintenance

issues related to corrosion control
- Identify and mitigate interference issues
- Assist in the design of and maintain cathodic protection systems
- Represent Company in PHMSA audits of corrosion control program
- Maintain/repair rectifier remote monitoring system
- Assist with regular Operations PM’s as required based on work load

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum education of a high school diploma or GED
- Must have a minimum NACE Level CP2 Cathodic Protection Technician certification
- Must have a minimum 3-5 years of experience in pipeline corrosion control
- Knowledge of 49CFR Part 195 and related industry standards is required
- Demonstrate effective written & verbal communication skills

Must have the ability to complete tasks and assignments in a safe and environmentally

responsible manner, ensuring proper handling and disposition of hazardous waste

reporting, material and supply ordering, and filing of various forms
