We are currently looking for a **Finishing Chief**

**Job Content**:
In this position, you will providing support to the Plan Manager (Production Director)
- 6S projects in the departments to improve the safety of the work environment, quality of processes and products and efficiencies.
- Daily, weekly, monthly and annual posting and analysis of production and performance data. Training and disciplinary actions taken based on results.
- The compliance with laws and regulations relative to safety, etc. in coordination/ cooperation with the HR and Safety Coordinator.
- The correct implementation of the QA system in accordance with the QA principles set by general management. The correct implementation of the quality assurance policies in cooperation with the Quality Engineer.
- The appropriate supply of products and supplies for the departments. Generation of Purchase requisitions and the correct receiving of products and supplies into specified inventory records.
- Elaboration of Standard Work Procedures. Training of personal against established checklists and standards to provide for seamless operation between shifts and across product lines.
- Establishes and maintains contact with the other Business Units of the BD Group as well as other departments of the BDMX organization to promote and facilitate cooperation and the transfer of knowledge.

**Profile**:

- University degree or equivalent through experience
- A thorough understanding of planning and scheduling processes.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as manager or supervisor in weaving, tapes or similar production processes with multiple shift systems.
- Knowledge of the SAP, BI and BMS system in general and related reports in specific
- Fluency in English and Spanish required
- Hands-on mentality and result driven
- Strong analytical skills
- Embraces fact-based decision making
