As the Sr. CAE Engineer, you will lead and execute development of new engineering analysis capabilities. You will participate in Product Development teams on new / major / minor designs, providing analysis to assess performance of new designs. Develop methods for problem root cause analysis and identification. Build Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models from CAD solid models.

**Objective**:
Lead design development using simulation and analytical solutions using CAE software. Coordinate and provide technical solutions to specific designs. Carries out Engineering calculations to determine the performance of specific designs in areas involving Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Structural Engineering, Materials Engineering, Vibrations, Kinematics, and Manufacturing Processes. Ensures that proposed design solutions meet performance, mass and cost requirements on time.
**Responsabilites**:
- Provides training and technical support to other CAE Engineers, acquires the degree of expert in specific areas of CAE. He is able to lead the improvement in the capacity of CAE procedures.
- Provides design strategies and technical direction to other areas of Engineering.
- Defines the plans for the virtual review presentations that must be in line with the activities of the development and Validation plans.
- Provides support to the Virtual reviews of the program according to the deliverables defined in GVDP:. VCVA, VSVA, VIVA and VPVA.
- Is able to develop new analytical procedures to predict the performance of specific designs.
- Works in coordination with other Engineering areas such as: Design, Development, Validation and Manufacturing Engineering to develop comprehensive solutions using virtual simulations.
- Creates and evaluates solutions to improve the quality and cost of designs based on specialized engineering knowledge.
- Generate reports for virtual evaluations. - Participate in global forums and other boards in order to share technical information with other regions (eg new procedures and new simulation techniques).
**Knowledge / Skills**:
- Knowledge of Engineering and Design principles.
- Manufacture process
- Spatial Geometry.
- Fundamentals of Automotive Engineering
- Understanding of Finite Element Analysis Theory (FEA). Specific Knowledge of CFDs
- Excellent understanding of Engineering theory in areas such as Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, and Thermodynamics.
Specific Knowledge of Structural Analysis:
- Excellent understanding of Engineering theory in areas such as Materials Mechanics, Materials Science, acoustics, Mechanical Vibrations, Dynamics, Kinematics, Mathematics.
- Excellent Ability in the use of CAE Software. - Understanding of Physical Phenomena. - Analytical capacity to define and solve complex systems. - Excellent ability for oral and written communication. - Ability for interpersonal relationships and to work effectively with others.
**Experience**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or Physical Engineering. (Master of Engineering is desirable). - Minimum experience of 3 years using CAE software in Engineering projects. - Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
