The company is a highly successful property management company in Austin, Texas. Since then we have grown rapidly through other acquisitions and branch openings across the country to rank as one of the top three HOA management companies in the nation.

We are looking for a Staff Accountant to support the following activities:

- Prepare bank reconciliations and expense accruals for a portfolio of clients.
- Review general ledger account and AR/AP activities to ensure financial statement accuracy and adherence to accounting policies.
- Produce monthly financial statements and internal/external reports as needed/requested
- Onboarding new clients in the accounting system.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of internal controls and segregation of duties required to drive consistent implementation of best practices
- Maintain current industry knowledge by reading professional publications and exploring on-the-job education opportunities.
- Prioritize and juggle multiple projects at once, particularly during month and year-end.

**Work schedule**

Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 CST

After the 3-month probation contract, we add the following:

**Requirements**:

- **MUST: Advanced English** (Strong communication skills: writing and speaking)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance related.
- Around 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience working with heavy financial production.
- Strong understanding of fund accounting.
- Experience working with cash and accrual accounting.
- Experience working with US entities** is a plus.
