**Description**:
Make purchases and supplies of material directly for the production area, in such a way as to ensure continuity according to the production program and have zero online stoppages due to material shortages.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review of MRP requirements, placement, expediting, cancellation and rescheduling of purchase orders.
- In case of short material for production, follow up and ensure that it arrives on time. Lead with the departments involved until the material is delivered.
- Provide feedback on the shorts in the appropriate reports such as the shortages report and expedite report.
- Maintain inventory at optimal levels according to needs.
- In case of obsolete inventory, keep the information updated in the quarterly obsolete report and follow up on its disposition within the department.
- Review of production requirements by means of MRP in JDE.
- Analysis of price variations derived from the purchases of materials; in the report of annual variations as well as in the reports of placed orders (buyer exception report).
- Follow-up to the first articles (FAI).
- Obtaining quality certificates for the products you apply.
- Provide complete information and documentation to the Import/Export area for the import of raw materials. As well as the certificates of origin (NAFTA) at the beginning of the year.
- Coordination of shipments of Raw Material and/or Franklin packaging material
- To meet the quality objectives of the position and support the company's strategic objectives.
- Comply with the guidelines of the quality system.
- Carry out their work with quality, complying with the required standards
- You must keep the company's own tools and equipment in good repair, clean and safe to work with.
- Participation in the company's continuous improvement projects.
- Follow up on the corrective actions of the Quality System.
- Fulfill the pertinent roles that management assigns in the way it applies. (for example; Brigades, Auditors, Godfathers)
