Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineering Manager located in Guadalajara North, Campus.

Reporting to the Sr Process Engineering Manager, Process Engineering Manager role involves maintain all metals operating processes under control and with activities in each of them of continuous improvement with internal clients, attend meetings, as well as any other requirement that arises with external clients. In addition, maintain contact with the corporate to participate in global improvement activities (best practices), proposing and learning.

What a typical day looks like:

- Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
- Establish and improve process capabilities.
- Develop and maintain process documentation.
- Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery and cost expectations.
- Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
- Improve throughput in constrained areas.
- Develop, test and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and lead cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.
- Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
- Lead initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
- Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience in the metal-mechanical field.
- Fluent English oral and written.
- Previous experience in similar position.
- Previous experience handling personnel.
- Experience in Kaizen projects is also a plus.
- Experience in new projects as a leader is also a plus.
- Green Belt Certification is also a plus.
- Schedule availability.
