BHILER ENGINEER
IN SILAO, GUANAJUATO, MX/USA

SCHERDEL de Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V., located in Silao, Guanajuato since 2004, is a subsidiary of SCHERDEL GmbH, located in Marktredwitz in the state of Bavaria, Germany. We are currently managed by the fourth generation of the founding family with sales and manufacturing activities at 42 sites in various European countries, North and South America and in Asia. SCHERDEL is strongly value driven and has a long track record of caring for our associates in many ways.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Read and interpret blueprints or hand sketches or works from verbal or written instruction
- Keeps count of completed product on each run and records and disposes of spoilage properly
- Checks quality of product in process and finished products per work instructions.
- Responsible for initial setups with designated team to meet timeline and goals set forth by PPAP submission due dates, documentation of lessons learned
- Performs adjustments on Machinery as needed
- Provides direction and training of machine operations
- Completes department required paperwork
- Provides Sales & Engineering support and attends customer visits when requested
- Support and consult of manufacturing processes for optimization, including but not limited to, improvements, scrap, downtime, etc.
- Link for transfer of knowledge for new projects from US plant to Mexican plant
- Conducts incoming inspection on tooling and compares them to print and order specifications
- Works with project team to define timelines, tasks and is responsible for outcomes assigned to department
- Understanding of production planning, inventory, and costs

**Position Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree finished - mechatronics or electromechanical engineering
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Computer skills in Windows environment and Microsoft Office required.
- Availability to travel to US for training for long period
