Vehicle Engineering position with growth potential for a highly motivated individual. A career opportunity on the Vehicle Engineering Attribute team that is responsible for meeting critical vehicle level requirements and delivering best-in-class vehicles to customers. Position includes identifying issues early with digital and/or physical tests, and leading cross functional teams to resolve cross system issues.

Minimum bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred

Effective communication, written and oral; ability to write and present technical papers to management team

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to lead meetings, document progress and prioritize and delegate assignments

Demonstrated strong leadership and ability to independently handle complex issues and make quick decisions.

Experience with vehicle systems, project management, and Systems Engineering is preferred

Design Verification; Lead vehicle program teams to meet the Vehicle Integration (VI) Attribute Requirements such as Vehicle Transport, Recreational Towing, Wrecker Towing, Dust intrusion, Exhaust Intrusion, etc.

Conduct CAD checks to ensure early design meets VI requirements

Conduct vehicle level tests to sign off vehicle programs during vehicle prototype phase

Lead cross functional teams to resolve issues identified during CAD checks, CAE analysis, and/or physical tests

Present attribute status at vehicle program milestone management report-outs

Serve as the voice of the customer; translate customer expectations into engineering requirements

Document lessons learned, improve processes, and revise requirements and design verification methods as needed
