**Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO)**

**Location**: Camp Blaz, Guam

**Shift**: Mon - Fri (8:00 - 5:00 pm)

**FLSA Classification**: Exempt - Salaried

**Employment Class**: Full-Time Regular

**Position Summary**:
**Potawatomi Support Services** (a federal government contractor) is seeking a qualified** **Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) **for Facility Management Service Contract located in an OCONUS military installation (Guam).

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Provide Safety oversight at each project site when work is being performed to implement and administer the contractor's safety program and government-accepted Accident Prevention Plan.

**Education & Experience Requirements**:

- Five (5) years of experience in preparing and enforcing safety programs on contracts of similar size and complexity in the past or

**Certification Requirements**:

- The SSHO shall have completed the OSHA 30-hour construction safety class or equivalent and maintain competency through 24 hours of formal safety and health-related coursework every four years.

**Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands**:

- Some walking and standing are required. You may have to lift and carry equipment (i.e. books, tools) weighing approximately 10-15 pounds.
- Most of the work is performed indoors
- Work in the occupation involves making repetitive motions more than 1/3 of the time
- Requires standing for periodically
- Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel and bend

**Other Requirements**:

- Must provide satisfactory Proof of Legal Residency and proof of U.S. citizenship

**Other**: Position is contingent upon award of contract
