We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **IBM/Z **Software/Senior Software Engineer**

Rapid team is responsible for the management of the non-production environments leveraged by multiple GB/GFs within the United States. This role is responsible for the following functions: IBMi non-production environment support, Batch non-production execution and support, Code deployment management in non-production and production, Data management in non-production environments

**Principal responsibilities**
- Setup and execution of batches
- Code deployments to non-production and production environments.
- Execution of ad-hoc batch jobs based on project/testing requirements.
- Test Data Management including Data Refresh, Data Masking Coordination and communication with key stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with Rapid team resources in United States, Canada and India.

Requirements

**Calificaciones - Externas**
- Good exposure of MQ, Connect Direct, DDM, sFTP interface setup on IBMi.
- Strong technical skills in ILE RPG, CLLE, DDS, DB2/400, Query/400, Code Debugging.
- Strong technical skills in RLU, SEU, DFU, SDA, DBU.
- Good knowledge of file journaling and triggers.
- Exposure to create in-house utilities to automate manual task.
- Knowledge of change and release management tools like RDi, RTC, ARCAD and Jenkins.
- General knowledge of IT hardware, software, operations and networks.
- Test environment build, maintenance, support and manage access controls on IBMi platform.
- Knowledge of code promotion to different non-production and production environments via source control tools.
- Good knowledge on code packaging, change planning and production release, subsystems, backup and restore process.
- Good knowledge on work management, DASD monitoring, allocation and clean-up.
- Good knowledge on change, release and environment management process.
- Good knowledge on batch support and troubleshooting.
- Ability to prioritize work to successfully deliver service to agreed levels in a diverse and constantly changing technical environment.
- Effectively co-ordinate delivery of services involving elements delivered by other internal/external teams.
- Production data scramble and copy to non-production environments.
- Trouble shoot issues, fix environment issues and work independently.
- Strong customer focus.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
