Operational Planner (Planner Service)
SGRE is looking for an Operational planner in the Joint Operations Center team (JOC), the JOC is responsible for standardized service for all Offshore sites for the Benelux Service team. As Operational planner you are responsible for Setting up and maintain the site long term planning over the lifetime of the Service agreements existing and new sites, general support and setting up standard service reporting (KPI’s) according to contractual requirements. With direct technical liaison between the client, site management and area management you will assure optimal optimization of resources and logistics. It is expected independently to explain planning details, practices, planning scenarios, etc. to site management, advanced operation coordinator (mid and short planner), senior technicians and other site related staff. Ensuring the Zero Harm policy and upholding Compliance guidelines is a prerequisite in this position.
What are the key responsibilities associated with the job?
Develop, maintain and update long and medium-term project schedules for the site in collaboration with the Site Manager and Operations Manager. Obtain sign off for all planning from Operations Manager. Work closely with sites to gain relevant information for updating the plans;- Organize regular planning review meetings with relevant site personnel to review the plan, to monitor progress and identify any potential issues or risks to achieving the plan;- Maintain the manpower forecast required to deliver the long
- and medium-term plans. Align personnel demands with site and Resource Management;- Produce schedule of resource requirements to assist in the identification and timely requisition. Align these demands with the Joint Coordination team (for materials) and Resource Management (for personnel demand) for the respective windfarm;- Central point of contact for overall planning questions;- Critically challenge current plans / requested changes and carry out scenario planning for long
- and medium-term plans if needed. Produce reports to assist relevant stakeholders in selection of the correct execution strategies, advise on potential impact of changes;- Prepare relevant data to contribute to the management reporting activity, ensure all data is up to date to allow accurate reports to be produced ie: turbines, activities, people, assets as per planning governance structure;- Support Operations Manager with Planning Reports for customers, if needed;- Assist operational management and team on a daily basis. Act as a P6 support to other business users. Advise on P6 capabilities;- Report on plan vs actual progression, risk to planning and resourcing, logistics and parts in a timely manner.
What do I need to qualify for this job?- MBO4(+)/HBO equivalent experience. Business Admin direction, alternative is technical background but strong organizational - and system skills;- Business English (oral and written) - Advanced Planning tooling - Advanced Presentation methods - Advanced Microsoft Office - advanced SAP;- Experience with Primavera is considered a benefit;- Living in or close to the Netherlands /Belgium with the ability to travel to site. You must be in possession of a valid work permit;- The ability to work under pressure and take responsibility for your own workload;- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements;- Knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice;- In possession of driving license B;- The ability to communicate efficiently with stakeholders in a self-confident manner;- Previous experience with working in the wind industry would be beneficial, although full training will be given;- The ability to travel for work including occasional international travel.
