Introduction
We are seeking a Payroll Intern to join our Mexico team. You will be support for preparing and processing payroll, ensuring that employees are paid accurately with the correct deductions. They also maintain and update records and assist in year-end processes. In this position, you will report to the Tax & Payroll Leader
This position is mainly located in Irapuato, Guanajuato MX.

**What you’ll do**:
- Accurate Payroll Processing: Maintain payroll information, ensuring timely and accurate updates to employee records, in line with corporate, governmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Verification & Reconciliation: Double-check all payroll entries, resolve discrepancies, and make sure every detail is correct - no exceptions.
- Reporting: Prepare and file payroll reports on a bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, ensuring compliance with governmental agencies and third-party vendors.
- Benefit Calculation: Handle taxable benefits such as automobile allowances, insurance, and other employee perks.
- Year-End Support: Contribute to year-end processes, including preparation of W-2s, T4s, and the filing of required government forms.
- Benefits Administration: Monitor employee benefits (group insurance, vacation, sick leave, etc.) and coordinate with external providers.
- General Ledger Processing: Assist ensure financial accuracy by balancing general ledgers for upload from ADP to SAP.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the HR, Finance, and Benefits teams, offering critical reporting support and contributing to various ongoing projects.
