**Job Description**:
As a Material Analyst for the Global Material Remanufacturing Team, you will be:
Responsible for analyzing, planning, and monitoring the movement of material through the remanufacture production cycle; and determining material requirements, coordinating the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering. In addition to providing detailed analysis for all aspects of service to achieve departmental goals, drive efficiencies and maximize contributions to business financial results.

Other key responsibilities include:

- Analyzes and maintains data to support performance metrics related to department goals and objectives.
- Provides support/analysis in SAP for CSM Asset Management Repair, Exchange, and Contracts (including PMA - Parts Management Agreements, Assurance, ISA - Integrated Service Agreements).
- Provides analytics and insights for achieving inventory control goals and drive standard replenishment practices.
- Support Product Lifecycle processes including new products releases, discontinuations & last time buys, and excess & obsolete for Plant Service global locations.
- Assist the global planner/buyers and serve as backup or support when required (business reports, returns processing, stop order processing support, etc.).
- Improves systems and processes by studying current practices, designing modifications in partnership with stakeholders.
- Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures in partnership with stakeholders.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
- Provides consultation to our business or enterprise shared services teams.
- Ensures thorough familiarity with company policies and procedures. Appropriately applies policies and procedures in compliance with government laws.

Here’s what we need from you (attributes and qualities):
Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in materials management, business administration, engineering, or related area.
- Typically, a minimum of 3-5 years of analytics experience with focus on inventory control in a commercial environment including planning, purchasing and materials management.
- Must exhibit excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills (English).

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in working within SAP/CRM for planning, purchasing, data management, and repair/exchange transactions.
- Expertise in MS Excel for data manipulation, problem-solving and analytical skills (ability to distill information from disparate data sources and the capability to tell the “story” behind it, as well as recommendations for next steps; Knowledge of Power BI is preferred.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements.
- Applies increasingly in-depth and advanced knowledge and expertise, analytical skills, and creative thinking to modify or adjust processes or approaches to best meet needs/objectives.
- Strong team orientation and ability to collaborate across various functions.
- A customer focused mindset.
- Maintain a positive demeanor during periods of uncertainty, conflict, and stress.

- APICS Certification is a plus.
