**Job description**

As a part of our ongoing growth and commitment to innovation in the North American credentialing space, we are currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated Billing Specialist to join our dynamic team.

The Billing Specialist will play a crucial role in the financial operations of our company, working in tandem with various departments to manage and streamline our billing processes. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing and executing the billing process for our customers using Stripe and QuickBooks
- Accurately reconciling and updating payment records
- Diligently following up on outstanding invoices and missing payments
- Collaborating closely with other departments to address and resolve financial inquiries
- Maintaining customer confidence and protecting operations by keeping financial information confidential

**Requirements**:

- You must be a Fluent English Speaker
- Prior experience with QuickBooks and Stripe is essential
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- A degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience in the accounting domain
- Strong numerical skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across different departments
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high levels of accuracy
- Proven capability to follow standard procedures and create processes to achieve efficient workflow
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and protect company operations by keeping financial information secure
