WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The México Brand Narrative & Experience Manager is an important member of the México Marketing team - the team that shapes the future of one of the world’s most iconic brands, by fueling the inspiration and innovation that helps athletes make sport a daily habit.

They drive narrative excellence and collaboration across multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all work is executed against the seasonal strategy. They work across several different mediums, including strategy, ideation, film, audio and headlines to ensure that the story is crafted and delivered masterfully.

We are looking for Brand Narrative Manager who is an exceptional team player with strategic, creative and production experience.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

You will focus on driving the narrative direction of the brand while leading complex productions across multiple mediums, delivering premium and inspirational content and stories for the consumer that live on a variety of social channels, in-app and dot com.

Key Responsibilities:

- Voice of the Brand: Set the vision and strategic/creative direction while managing internal and external squads.
- City Consumer Experience: Create the work we need to make Mexican consumers feel and do sport, with pre-determined landing places for deliverables.
- Key Partners: Ensuring your team has the right mix of Agency partners, including production companies, creative agencies, post houses, animation, and premium lifestyle photography, to support the varying types of productions.
- Drive work aligned to the annual concept map: Drive Brand Narrative, LTCC, and Seasonal Category Stories aligned to the annual concept map across origination, extension, and adaptation approaches.
- Support a collaborative creative process: Ensure the brand creative team is working as an aligned team to drive amazing creative work, with all voices being heard. Develop positive relationships with finance, legal, business affairs, risk management and procurement partners to ensure alignment and adherence to corporate guidelines.
- Partnership with City and Geo Marketing Leads: All work will live fuel deep consumer journeys. This takes close partnership at the city level and across all partner functions in both city and geo.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

You will work closely with all the México Marketing team functions:

- Brand Consumer Journey // Working closely with the Brand Marketing team aligning, planning and supporting long term and seasonal consumer journeys to execute against with creative campaigns.
- Long-Term Consumer Concepts // Working closely with the performance, and lifestyle Local and global teams
- Brand Experience // Working closely with the Geo Brand Experience Studio, they transform the voice of the brand into the experience of sport across Live Experiences, Retail Experiences, and Virtual Experiences.
- Creative Partners: // Working closely with creative partners, identifying and stablishing relationships with production companies, design studios, and collaborators that can help us make our vision tangible.
- Athlete/Sport/Cultural Moments // Working closely with the Sports Marketing team. Aligning planning and supporting the execution of tactical sport/athlete moments.
- Paid Media Partnerships // Working closely with Geo Communications and Integrated Media teams,to inform and consult on media partnership creative opportunities.
- Influencer Marketing // Working closely with the influencer Marketing team, to inform, consult or lead key influencer marketing creative opportunities.

WHAT YOU’ll BRING TO NIKE

Critical Competencies for Success:

- Creative judgement/direction: Must be a great judge of creative with the ability to direct partners on ways to get to ‘Nike level’ creative.
- Communication: Effective storyteller, excellent writer (esp. simplifying complex information) Fluent in English.
