**Title**: Commodity SM Specialist
**Primary Location**: Mexico (MX) - Coahuila JD Shared Svcs-Ramos Component
**Function**: Supply Management / Logistics

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Cost recovery from suppliers responsible for warranty claims.
- Identify causes and variables limiting the recovery and close gaps to leverage the recovery.
- Collaborate with Deere Units globally to identify the best opportunities for Quality improvement AND Cost Recovery.
- Develop, build and maintain an ongoing relationship with assigned suppliers to monitor and improve Warranty performance and negotiate cost recovery.
- Provide training to suppliers in JD Warranty System and troubleshoot & escalate issues with IT.
- Supports the negotiation of Warranty Agreements by working closely with Sourcing team (SBM group) to generate Warranty Agreements for suppliers and Deere.
- Deep analysis & understanding of Warranty trends, failure modes, reject reasons, worst offenders suppliers and key part numbers for the assigned commodity.

- Supplier relationship management.
- Strong negotiation / communication skills.
- Management and analysis of large amounts of Data.
- Experience with Problem resolution techniques.
- MS Office proficiency.
- Proficient knowledge in commodities as: Powertrain, Electrical/Operator station, Hydraulics/Power module, Casting/machining/plastic.
- Medium-high comfort level with Ambiguity.

**What Makes You Stand Out**:

- Knowledge in Warranty System / Warranty management experience.
- SAP domain.
- NCCA system domain.
- Analysis and creation of Contracts / Agreements.
- Quality / Warranty process experience.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) experience.
- PowerBI and/or Tableau management.

**Education**:

- Industrial Engineer.
- Electro/mechanic Engineer.
- Mechatronic Engineer.
